FASCINATING!  Watch and experience  how the Old English version of the Lord's Prayer is almost entirely unintelligible from modern English version, and yet you can see how Modern English was descended from it.  REMEMBER, the King James Bible was written in 1611. The language of England between 1470-1650 was early modern English.​  Watch Video
