Golden Heirs was organized on June 23, 1983 with 32 people present.  The group was formed so that senior adults of our church could meet on a monthly basis for fun and fellowship.  Currently, Golden Heirs meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 11:00 am.  The meetings are held alternately at St. Luke UMC with a covered dish luncheon or at a restaurant.  A short business meeting, program, devotion, and blessing are given at each meeting, and then the eating, fun, and games begin.  Golden Heirs is open to church members and nonmembers ages 50 and up, and new members are welcome.
